About JK Studios
JK Studios Ltd is a small computer graphics and visual effects studio based in leafy Farnham, in Surrey run by James Kearsley.
We create 3D animation, visual effects and motion graphics content for music videos, video games, websites and offline media. Previous work includes creative content for end clients such as Virgin, CBeebies, Codemasters, Sega, Garmin, SAAB and Nature, artists such as Example, Subfocus and Iglu & Hartley, with content appearing on television, in commercials, PC games and Xbox360 / PS3.
Entirely self-taught with an Art and Design background, James has been freelancing in the creative industry for 10 years, which has enabled him to adapt and be flexible in his abilities; having to find new creative skills as each project requires in order to reach the end product. It’s this flexibility, willingness to try something new and dynamism of abilities spanning multiple software packages that underpins the company’s ethos – ‘Multimedia in every sense’.
