Music Video Animation

Henry Scholfield at Partizan approached James to design, model and create animated 3d graphics for Subfocus’ music video ‘Rock It’. James designed, developed, modelled, rigged and animated the transforming ‘obelisk’ that forms the central pillar in the middle of the video, in addition to the creating the ‘slitscan’ effect which appears at the end – a sci-fi homage to Stanley Kubrick’s 2001: A Space Odyssey.
