Clean and stlyised motion graphics

Digital agency Mocha commissioned James to develop a brief for BAE Systems, in the form of an internal communications animation. Using the design guide of simplistic, semi-transparent lines, the idea to combine arrow heads – symbolising people – and simple iconography to create a clean, contemporary animation to support the VO.

Mask paths and clever layering were used to enable the shapes to flow and merge from one scene to the next. Strong text overlays, using bold main type and small subtle keyword text are used around the shapes to highlight the key messages.
